Shady Luxury Eyewear

A business plan that was created for my Enterprise Development class. Our company was focused on luxury eyewear.

The Purpose of this Class

This class wasn't necessary fashion based, it was a class to help better understand creating a business and the aspect to entrepreneurship. We were put into groups and had the option to choose any business plan/idea we wanted and our group decided on a sunglass company that didn't have mainstream brands but contributed to local exclussive brands that most stores didn't exactly carry.

Project Requirments

We were required to created a written business plan throughout this course that contained: A cover letter, concept statement, executive summary, management plan, merchandising/product plan, brick-and-mortar location plan, web plan summary, marketing plan, financial plan, retail opperations, and appendix. Each of these topics required several parts to it and was time consuming. Also a presentation was to be presented of our plan at the end of the course and a pannel of judges were to ask questions about our plan and products (Shark Tank).

This course and project was beneficial to me becuase one day I do want to open up my own business and getting to create a business hands on helped me understand all that is required to be successful and make smart business decisions.
