Fashion Merchandise

About Me
I am a senior at Texas State University, majoring in fashion merchandising and minoring in business administration. I am a proud member of my sorority, Zeta Tau Alpha. I have served a position, which was Think Pink chairman; I hosted our pink out football game at Texas State and coordinated following breast cancer awareness events. I also spoke for two years during our fall recruitment for philanthropy day. Zeta and the friends I've made through this sorority have helped me form who I am as a woman and made college a more enjoyable experience.
Eleven years ago, I bought a fashion book full of sketches and stickers of clothing in the fifth grade at our annual book fair and ever since then I have been fascinated with fashion. That's where it all began. I was a very shy kid growing up but fashion was always a way I could easily express myself without having to say a thing. A stylist and owning my own personal blog have always been dreams of mine. I believe that hard work, my love for fashion, and the grace of God can help these dreams come true.
The goal of this portfolio is to help me seek a career in the fashion industry that utilize my skills in communication, formal education in the field, my natural talent in style, and merchandising. I will be showcasing a collection of a few past creative designs, business projects, and fashion presentations for a professional portfolio.
